El idioma y la diferencia cultural hizo de barrera al principio pero con el paso de los días se fue resquebrajando y los últimos días muy muy bien. Debido al gran número de personal que había nos tuvimos que alojar en tienda de campaña y aunque nos dieron todos los sacos y esterillas que pedimos, luego supimos que había camas sin ocupar donde podríamos haber dormido. Aún así Freya estuvo muy atenta y nos preguntaba a todo momento si todo estaba bien. El entorno es tranquilo y bonito y la actividad principal consiste en andar por la isla, coger la bici y beber cerveza en el bar del hotel.

We really enjoyed having Pedro and his travel buddy Pablo here working with us, they did all the tasks we asked of them really well, this was mostly in the housekeeping department. and although the tasks are not glamourous, they got stuck in every time. They got along well with the staff here at Raasay House. Please don't hesitate to have Pedro on your team if he sends you an application to work with you. Cheers.

Beautiful experience in a relaxing and peaceful environment. Staff was always helping me, and Freya and David were attentive with me. I worked 5 hours per day in "kp" and housekeeping, 6 days at week, but it was not a hard job. I was sleeping in a tent, but I think it is possible for you to get a cabin if you stay so many time. There's not a lot of activities to do during free time, but there are a lot of possible trips in the island, even you can get the ferry and going to Skye. The meals and food were great, but maybe you will need to buy food on the shop located in the village. Thanks guys!

Living and working at the hostel was a great experience! The work was straight-forward and only short shifts. We lived in a small cabin (myself and 2 friends I was travelling with) and had access to bathrooms, showers, meals, laundry, and different outdoor activities. The best part was how welcoming the other staff were and getting to know them! It was also easy to take day trips around the island and to the isle of skye.

The hostel is a great place to work if you want a chance to explore the Isle of Skye! The staff here are great and made it very easy to adapt to the every day life. the hostel Island is beautiful and so much fun to explore! They have lots of activities for you to participate in (kayaking, coasteering, gorge walking), and there was always something new to try! If you like beautiful mountain views, adventure and meeting some great people, the hostel is an awesome choice!
