My experience with Terri and her family was fantastic! It was a pleasure to be part of the family and enjoy the contact with the horses, cats, and dogs. The host always makes sure to tell you the reason behind the tasks you and I learned A LOT about horses! The tasks are manual but I did not feel like they were excessive. It was actually a nice break from working in front of the computer all day! If you love being around animals, don't mind manual tasks, want to get immersed in life in England, and even learn some English, this experience is for you!

This was my first experience with worldpackers and I can say that it was a great choice. Working with the horses is easy, however Terri will kindly explain what you need, you can see the love she puts into what she does. The atmosphere of the house is welcoming, making it easy to get to feel at home. Dinner is great, Andy always prepares very good and different meals for the whole family, you can also learn a lot by talking with him! The house is surrounded by beautiful green hills, making it a perfect place to relax and connect with nature. Thanks to the Pickard family for everything!

My best worldpackers experience so far. Totally amazing! Terri loves what she does, she is lovely and she will explain everything you need to know. The job is easy - if you have experience with horses it will be even easier. Horses are super good. The house is located in the countryside of England, small town but beautiful landscapes. Food is GREAT, I couldn't stop eating. Everyday you will share dinner time, Andrew will cook for the whole family. You can have great conversations with him! All the love for the home's family. I hope to be back soon!

This was my first Worldpackers experience - and WOW what a trip! 10 Stars! Communication: Fast to confirm! New home: Stunningly beautiful. There might be other volunteers also. Relaxed, you are free to express yourself The work: Daily routine: Feed / clear fields in the morning + quick feed in the afternoon - (Split shift - 4 hours break between) The food: The host will arrange something delicious if you have special needs eg. vegan. Otherwise, you can expect traditional ENGLISH homecooked meals, dinner is eaten around the table with family. For lunch and breakfast, you can help yourself!

When I arrived, I immediately felt at home! Terri and Andi are so nice and friendly, everything was simple and pleasant. I had my own room and working was not really complicated. Caring for horses was soothing to me. The dogs and cats were also very funny ^^ It was totally as I expected (even better!)! It was an incredible experience and I thank you again! I hope to have another opportunity to return one day! I recommend!!

Fue una experiencia increíble, nos sentimos siempre en familia. Aprendimos mucho acerca de los caballos, su alimentación y cuidado. The truly perfect Worldpackers experience The work with the horses is not really hard just a bit repetitive some times But you will love the horses ( and the 5 dogs 😍) The food is amazing you will never be disappointed I can promise you that haha I felt at home the whole time, everyone is really nice The town is really beautiful but you have to keep in mind that is really small So you have to find ways to entertain yourself And you can always a travel and explore Uk in your free days I highly recommend it And I hope I'll go back soon Thanks Terry & Andy for everything

My first experience in worldpackers, and it was the best. Terri and her family are amazing, they made you feel like home and they are lovely. The work is not that hard. The food is great. One experience that I will remember forever.

Was my first worldpackers experience and I really recommend!!! Terri and Andy are amazing, house is so good and comfortable, I felt at home definitely. Work is a bit hard in the first days, especially if you never take car of horses, but Terri is always teaching you. Lovely family and lovely stay!

Terri is a wonderful person. She and her family do everything to make our time there better. The job is not really hard. And the animals (Horses, dogs, cats, etc.) are amazing! I highly recommend the home!!
