Wichai's Jungle Home Stay

NOTICE; We now after Covid 19 welcome volunteers to stay at my house "banroipeehomestay" at Ban na.It is 8 km.far from the jungle. They might be more comfortable than the jungle.There are many fresh markets nearby and also convenience shops.We will be back to the jungle when everything is okay.

Our place is a quiet private forest surrounding by villagers away from city light but million stars light. If you are looking to get away from busy cities and major tourist attractions our place might be the one for you. In exchange for free amenities we work 3 hours a day from Monday to Friday other than that its your time to explore and learn as you please
.
We also have free old bicycles on-site to use for your transportation to visit the local markets, Temples and ponds .For Natural Park you might be ask for my truck then share for gas.

Wichai my husband a retired art teacher and I a retired biology teacher both love nature and enjoy working on our little projects. Currently we have been working on a Mud House, everything from the ground up was built by the hands of our volunteers. We both love to teach and pass on the knowledge we have, as well as learning new ideas from others.

I truly enjoyed my two weeks at the Banroipee homestay and working alongside Wichai on his and Naiyana’s three beautiful properties. I learned so much from the two of them and about myself. It was so great to interact with the small town people of Ban Na Doem and many other international travelers!

I had the loveliest time at Wichai and Naiyana’s home for two weeks. They are so welcoming and accomodating, and it was a joy to be a part of their family for a while. The work varied which kept things interesting and the hours weren’t long at all. The village and locals are delightful as well. It’s the perfect place to slow down and connect with yourself, nature & others :))

As my first solo trip, my experience here was unforgettable. Lots of free time to go on adventures, kind locals, and tasty food from the nearby markets. Naiyana and Wichai are the sweetest people. Even if you don’t know a skill Mr. Wichai will be patient teaching you.

Staying in Ban Na with Wichai and Naiyana was exactly what I was looking for. Connecting with real Thailand, lush green landscapes all around, beautiful spots to ride a bicycle nearby, local markets, very nice people and smiles, lots of smiles from the locals. The hosts are friendly, nice, and welcoming. I always felt supported and communication was great! We always arranged any schedule changes in advance. The tasks were very diversified and I learned a lot with Mr. Wichai that is the one organizing and deciding our tasks. They are both amazing people. I totally recommend this place.

easy access to markets/ supermarkets or restaurants or street food. work is fun and not always easy but good exercise. 3 hrs a day 9-12 . what more could you want
