Our location is ideal for those seeking a unique experience in the heart of the Australian (BUT) Dont forget we are in a hot humid climate in the outback. We’re just 40 minutes from Katherine and 2.5 hours from Darwin, offering easy access to these vibrant cities while you enjoy the peace and beauty of rural life. Take advantage of being close to nature and explore the best of the outback, all while living in a welcoming and inspiring environment.

We are a friendly, welcoming team here at Two Rivers Station and Oak'n'Dale Paint and Quarter Horse Stud. We are passionate about what we do and always happy to share our knowledge and experiences with our volunteers. We believe in treating everyone with respect and making sure they feel part of the family. Volunteers can expect to be treated fairly, with kindness, and have their contributions truly valued. We want to ensure that your stay is enjoyable, productive, and memorable. Open communication and a supportive environment are key, and we’re always here to help or answer any questions. And we'll definitely improve your English skills.

It is a beautiful and very friendly place! Thank you to Mick and Sharon for these 3 incredible weeks spent by their side. We were able to discover Australian life in a large farm like this one, we took care of horses, dogs and donkeys.

Incredible experience !!! Thank you very much to Sharon and Mike for this very friendly welcome ! We immediately felt comfortable by their side ! Thank you also for all this experience and knowledge that you have brought us during these 3 weeks !!
We loved taking care of all the animals (Dogs, horses,...) and helping the smooth running of this large farm !
Here we met a very big welcoming family :))
Ps: Sharon, we will miss your good dishes :'(

Sharon and Mick we’re absolutely amazing people, they made the entire experience so memorable and special. From the beginning I felt so comfortable and happy being there. The work could be challenging in the heat at times, but we were always allowed breaks. The animals were beautiful and so friendly. It was an unbelievable experience. It’s definitely the real Aussie bush life!

Visiting this farm in Australia was an amazing experience. I fed the horses and donkeys, which was so much fun and I also played with the friendly dogs around the farm. Sharon & Mick were really welcoming and made sure everyone had a great time. The farm itself is beautiful with wide open spaces and lots of animals to interact with. It’s a perfect spot for anyone who loves animals and wants to enjoy a peaceful day in the Australian Outback.

If you're looking for a fun and real outback farm experience, this place is for you! Get ready to get your hands dirty :) It's a lovely place with great animals (lots of cute dogs!!). The hosts, Sharon and Mick, are a funny bunch who will poke fun at you and tell it to you straight, but also make sure you're taken care of. I had a great time and am very grateful for the experience!
