I had a great time volunteering at Tric Trac hostel! I worked behind the bar and helped facilitate social events. The hours were fair, and I had free time to explore during the day. At times it was challenging to engage people when there weren't many people in the hostel. Overall, it was fun meeting international people and building connections with great employees and other volunteers. It would be nice to have a little more training prior to starting the first shift, but after a couple shifts it is understood what all needs to be completed and how. :)

Volunteering in TricTrac was fun and calm. The team and the guests were very friendly, and the nights spent playing instruments, card games, trivia, and singing karaoke created lasting memories. Socializing is important during bar shifts, but it never felt like work. If anything, it was a great way to make new friends. In addition, working in the evening made it manageable to do day trips to Pompeii and to the Amalfi Coast. I 100% recommend this hostel!

La mia esperienza non avrebbe potuto essere migliore. Me ne vado con il cuore felice. Il team è stato incredibile; mi sono sentito supportato fin dal primo momento. I enjoyed my time at TricTrac. It’s a great place to meet and learn from travelers from all over the world. The free pasta nights are a good bonus and there’s usually leftovers for volunteers to have the next day. You only work the night shifts, giving you the days free until 7 or 8. However, the job itself is vague, and there is an expectation for volunteers to go above and beyond the tasks you’re given, which can be difficult to understand.

My experience at the hostel was everything I expected, and everything went great. I met many interesting people, we shared good moments, great food, and amazing experiences.
It was fun and I really enjoyed it, especially as it was my first time working in a hostel.
Everyone treated me very well, they were patient and always gave me time to explore the city. I feel we made a great team that managed to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all the guests who stayed there!
