We are close to several famous tourist spots in Faro. So while you help us here at the guesthouse you will also have the opportunity to get to know the city very well.

We like to share our experiences and learn from the traveler's life experience as well. It is nice to have different people helping us out and giving us new ways to see things.

Este fue mi primer voluntariado y fue un buen comienzo! Me toco el PE y las tareas fueron las esperadas, se cumplen las horas de trabajo y los dias de descanso permitiendote poder recorrer mucho. La playa de Faro queda a 30 min en bus. Destaco el grupo de personas que me toco con compromiso y compañerismo. Recomiendo este voluntariado y a mejorar el almuerzo ya que no hay variedad y en cuanto a la habitación que no tiene ventana mejorar la circulación de aire. Respecto a los anfitriones siempre atentos a que estemos cómodos y solucionado cualquier problema! 😊

It was really nice the place is very well ubicated in the center of Faro and you will have a lot of free time to explore the surroundings. What i prefer was definetely the lunch gathering every day with other volunteers from other hostels because it really gaves us the chance to meet a lot of people from everywhere ! I was hosted by Sonja and Pedro, they were honestly amazing with us, always available in case of need, grateful for our work, and overall really kind to us. I thank you both again for the opportunity you gave me and wish you all the best for the future ! ;)

Los anfitriones receptivos a lo que pudiera necesitar; lo que había q mejorar, se lo dije directamente a Pedro y fue receptivo al escucharme, son personas respetuosas siempre y cuando tu también lo seas con ellas. Los voluntarios siempre con muy buena vibra, y las Colombianas que los apoyan son excelentes personas, tienen mucha paciencia y son como unas madres para los voluntarios. Me voy con unas buenas amigas y gente linda en mi corazón. Bonita experiencia y conexión con personas de varias partes del mundo. Grandes aprendizajes de vida.

El trabajo y horarios fueron respetados tal cual lo acordado. En relación a otros voluntariados que hice, este fue bastante exigente (nada imposible), ya que se tienen las mismas responsabilidades que las personas que trabajan allí. Me parece importante tenerlo en cuanta a la hora de aplicar. Los anfitriones son amorosos y están atentos a tus necesidades, aunque casi no tengas contacto con ellos. Los almuerzos son el momento ideal para conectar con otros voluntarias ya que no estamos todas en el mismo hostel (Dato: los almuerzos fueron mayormente vegetarianos). Me sentí cómoda y respetada!

It was my first experience as a volunteer, and it was really nice. Altough the room didnt habe a window (this was disclosed when applying), it was okay to stay in for 3 weeks. The host was really friendly and you could always reach out if you had questions. We always ate lunch together at an other hostel, with volunteers from alot of different hostels, so it was really easy to meet other solotravellers and to make friends.
