The Backyard Glamping started off with just two tents in (you guessed it!) the backyard of our family home. The owner of our Glamping grew up in the Cameron Highlands and can tell you all about it.
We kindly invite you to take part in our daily life and to share your culture with us.

Our staff consists of people from mixed cultures. We like to share our knowledge with you. We welcome you into our small office home and make you feel welcome. We are sure you will get a heartfelt experience with us.

I really enjoyed my time volunteering at the Backyard glamimg. The work was mainly cleaning and doing laundry, which was easy to manage, and the hosts were very kind and welcoming. As a highlight, I could Join two tours, which made the experience even more special. I would definitely recommend this place to other volunteers.

I had a great experience volunteering at the glamping. The tasks were easy to learn and the working hours were very flexible, which gave me plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings. I had the chance to join one of the tours, which was a lovely bonus. The place itself is beautiful and has a very pleasant atmosphere. I’m really glad I chose to spend my time here!

Durante mi estancia , Amy y su esposo siempre estuvieron al pendiente de mi, de las comidas y las formas en la que uno se moviliza, ya que donde se realizan las tareas son a 30 min. caminando y a 10 min en carro, del lugar donde te hospedas, las tareas son muy sencillas, limpieza de tiendas de dormir, jardinería, recepción y otros, el horario es muy flexible y puedes organizarte a tu conveniencia, solo aceptan un voluntario o 2, el staff es magnífico aunque no sepan hablar inglés siempre te regalan una sonrisa. Ja es increíble y con el realizas los tours alrededor que son un Plus.

Mi experiencia en el Glamping fue maravillosa :) Conecté con gente local, aprendí un poco de Malay, probé todas la comida que pude, gracias a Azi :) Es un negocio familiar y necesita toda la ayuda que le puedas dar con las tareas de housekeeping, recepción y jardinería. Ja, Emi y Azul están siempre para explicarte. Comes las delicia de su restaurante 1 vez al día. Otro de los beneficios es que puedes unirte a los tour que realizan a las plantaciones de té y fresa y al Mossy Forest. Estoy muy agradecida de mi estadía aquí, aprendí mucho de la cultura en Malasia y como funciona su turismo.
