We offer not just a project, but a shared life experience.

We're a warm, open-minded team led by experienced educators and artists who value kindness, teamwork, and inspiration. Volunteers are treated as friends and families. You'll be supported, respected, and given the freedom to contribute your own ideas while enjoying daily cultural sharing, delicious food, and a relaxed but purposeful rhythm.

I had a wonderful time at Sunny’s Homestay! Bee and Danny are incredibly kind people who were always fun to be around. They shared their home, food and musical talent with us and made sure we had a good time.
The work was as agreed but some things on their Worldpackers page are a bit misleading. You share a room with others instead of a private room and most meals you cook by yourself. Moreover, most of the activities listed aren’t hosted by them but a different volunteering program in the city.
Still, these things didn’t have a huge impact on my time here and I’d definitely recommend.

Dear Valerie, due to high demand this season, we have to share rooms (with bunk beds of course) with 1 other volunteer, even the host sleeps in the living room and this is all agreed in the conversation before you came. You guys also confirmed your understanding with the summary of the call about the temporary sharing of the room in high season, in the message after the call, on the 6th of October, we can send the image of your confirmation to WP and you to review. Danny and Bee are very kind and warm-hearted people. During my time there, I learned a lot from them. I felt very comfortable. The work was also very exciting and fun. The work itself was as agreed, but other things weren't quite the same. We didn't have private rooms but shared a room with others. We usually prepared our three meals a day ourselves. However, none of these things affected my time there. It was truly wonderful. Danny and Bee always made sure everyone was happy and comfortable.
I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Danny and Bee couldn’t have been more welcoming! They were incredibly generous and kind, sharing both their home and their knowledge throughout my stay. Teaching students in the classroom, at home, and out and about was so much fun, and I always felt well supported and encouraged. They went out of their way to provide a warm & friendly environment and additional opportunities to engage with the local community I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much, Danny and Bee! 💕

Bee and Danny are lovely hosts and will do anything to make sure you're stay is enjoyable. I spent my time teaching Jack and Iris who took me to local places to try local food. I met some great people down at the lab and when Danny and Bee had time off they took us to the beach and out for dinner. If you can ride a scooter this would be the best way to enjoy the surrounding area. The dogs are also very sweet. If you're looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing then this would be a good place to spend some time

Absolutely great experience. Danny and Bee were both extremely helpful with transport to the location. They also brought us on many adventures that are 100% worth experiencing. Hours were easy and flexible. There is also loads of things to do independently and many incredible views to visit. I would definitely recommend to anyone. I’ve had some unforgettable experiences and overall a really great time! Thank you so much Danny and Bee!
