Shey
Greetings.
We are an English & Kenyan couple living in the French countryside.
We speak English, Swahili, Kikuyu, Kisii and a little French( We are attending French lessons).
We value connection with other cultures and love sharing our way of life with others. We believe in the power of exchange—whether it’s knowledge about permaculture, sustainability, or simply learning from each other’s experiences. Our aim is not only to create a self-sufficient space but also to foster a sense of community where everyone feels welcome and inspired by the natural world around us.
We are surrounded by mountains, lakes and nature . We are looking to sympathetically restore a 12th century French farmhouse in order to create a self sufficient, low impact community or retreat.
Depending on seasons, We need help with;
Clearing out barns and attic
Building a greenhouse
Help with planting out seedlings, sowing seeds
Help with food preservation
Help with building a greenhouse
Setting up pottery studio
