It was a lovely time volunteering at the hostel. The staff are top tier and made me feel settled straight away. If you want to meet more people while travelling I highly recommend volunteering here. The free food is also great and there’s always events on in the evening to keep you entertained

The rooms are very comfortable and easy to get a good night sleep in. Also there’s multiple showers and sinks on each floor.

I extended my volunteering too so I got to spend Christmas and new years with the team which was nice.

I had to leave my volunteer work earlier than expected because I had to be hospitalized for an eye infection. However, I loved my time at Revolution; the work is fun and the tasks are easy, and it was wonderful to connect with the other volunteers. They were also very supportive when I had my health issue, and Jen offered to help me with anything I needed. I hope to have the opportunity to return to Bangkok and volunteer with them again.

I absolutely loved my stay at Bliss Hostel. The vibe, the events, and the people made Bangkok unforgettable. I want to give a huge shoutout to Jen who is the most caring and incredible manager I have ever met. She made my entire experience special and truly goes above and beyond for every guest. This hostel and its amazing staff are the best in Bangkok. If you want an unforgettable stay, this is the place to be.

I didn’t feel welcomed or included during my stay. There was no communication from the host when I arrived, and I had to figure out my tasks alone. A volunteer gave vague, disrespectful instructions, and I later learned I was expected to manage social media and party-promoting, leading to extra hours. After I became sick, the host suddenly ended my placement via WhatsApp and asked me to leave. The cold showers and strong AC didn’t help. So, I didn’t feel supported or treated fairly.

I clearly explained your tasks and expectations before approving your application, and we discussed them again after your arrival. There was no confusion about your role.
You did not meet these expectations, and you were not able to work more than a week for being sick—working only a few days in total—yet you still expected full benefits and privileges.
If you had truly been treated unfairly, I would have asked you to leave immediately. Instead, I waited and gave you time to feel better.
