Retro Colovings
Volunteers who come to our home usually do so because they’re looking for a real Medellín experience, not just a place to stay. We offer a calm, safe base in Laureles while being closely connected to both local life and the expat community. It’s a space where people naturally interact, exchange cultures and languages, and become part of the rhythm of the neighborhood rather than passing through as tourists.
Because we are a small coliving and homestay, volunteers get to know everyone personally and have the chance to truly integrate—whether that’s through daily conversations, shared meals, sports, cultural activities, or simply living alongside people from different backgrounds.

Many volunteers stay longer than planned because they feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely welcomed.
