Noyadd Trefawr

Beautiful countryside. Historic house. Close to wonderful beaches. You will help to make our garden and house restored and beautiful for all our guests and preserve it for the future.

It is just Quentin and Natasha who live at Noyadd Trefawr with our cat Chumley. We have two grown-up daughters who sometimes visit and many friends. We usually have just one volunteer at a time. Natasha used to be an English teacher and Quentin is learning Welsh.

I had a great experience at Noyadd Trefawr! Natasha and Quentin were very welcoming and lovely hosts. They were clear in their expectations with work and hours from the get go and always available if you had any questions. I had a great variety in work over the two weeks I was there. On days off they were kind enough to provide advice on what to see and do in the area, as well as give me rides to and from the bus stops. All the meals provided were delicious also. Highly recommend this worldpacker experience to anyone keen on some active work and wanting to explore south-west Wales!

My experience at Noyadd Trefawr truly could not have been any better. Natasha and Quentin are incredibly warm and welcoming - by the end you will feel like a natural part of their home. Natasha makes wonderful food and always makes sure you are fed and have everything you could need. The work was physical but fun and felt great to get in touch with nature. A lot of it is spent alone which I loved as it gave a lot of time for introspection. You also have lots of time off to explore, read, sunbathe, cycle, swim - be prepared to travel for a bit by foot or bicycle to get anywhere!

5 stars is simply not enough to express the incredible time I had at Noyadd Trefawr. Natasha and Quentin are the kindest people you’ll meet, and their hospitality is beyond generous. Every day was magical and filled with delicious food, rewarding yard/house work, and gorgeous scenery. (A glass of wine with dinner is a perk 😉). They provide everything you may need for different jobs and even a bike to explore the Welsh coast! The work is inspiring, the company is delightful, and the laughs are never ending! I cannot thank them enough! Come here for an unforgettable experience! Much love ❤️

Me encanto!! Noyadd Trefawr es un lugar maravilloso, fue mi primer voluntariado y no pudo haber mejor lugar. Tiene vistas maravillosas, es un excelente lugar para sumergirse con la naturaleza. Natasha y Quentin son anfitriones increíbles, siempre me sentí cómoda y como en casa. Las tareas son sencillas y siempre te explican cómo hacerlas si es que tienes duda, los horarios se respetan 100%. Si tienes la oportunidad de hacer un voluntariado en UK, este es el lugar!! Muchas gracias por darme la oportunidad de ser parte de la historia de Noyadd Trefawr.

Natasha and Quentin are both warm and very welcoming people, and Natasha is an excellent chef! Most of the work is in the garden with a bit of cleaning and they make sure you only do the set hours. The tasks are also varied so you often work on different things everyday. You have a lovely room at the top of the house. I’d definitely recommend this experience and it’s a great place to get off your phone and be in nature. Everything is a bit far away but they have a bike if you’re up to it or the closest bus stop is about a 45 min walk.
