Such a beautiful and meaningful experience!Volunteering at the Jure Franko hut on Trebević was something truly special, and I’d recommend it to anyone who loves nature. What made it so special to me was that there were lots of other volunteers which I quickly became close with, the view was stunning and you really have the chance to reconnect with yourself! The hut is well loved by hikers and can get quite lively, especially on weekends. It was a real pleasure meeting Primož and enjoying this cute little hut in the mountains! Will definetly come back someday! ❤️‍🩹

O lugar é maravilhoso, uma das montanhas mais lindas que já visitei. O trabalho também era muito tranquilo. Foi uma experiência totalmente diferente. Eu recomendo para quem quer se aventurar de verdade no meio da natureza. Você precisa estar com a mente aberta e disposto a enfrentar alguns desafios. No lugar não temos banho nem chuveiro, para fazer as necessidades você vai em algum cantinho da montanha e faz. Mas mesmo assim eu aprendi muito durante minha estadia, estive com pessoas incríveis!

This was my first volunteering experience, and it was amazing. I will definitely come back next year. Primoz is funny, very caring with everyone, and he teaches leadership as well as daily tasks to keep everything in order.

I had such a great time volunteering here! This was my second time volunteering and it was so much better than expected. Primos was such a good host, and the hut itself is in such an amazing spot, where you get to meet other volunteers from around the world, but also many friendly locals! Just make sure you wash your clothes before going up there, since there isn’t a washing machine. Thank you for the best time!!

I really enjoyed living in the hut for a few weeks. Be warned it is off the grid so no shower & the diet can affect you after a while. However the work was really easy, serving hikers drinks & soup on the weekend & occasionally in the week and a bit of busy work. It’s a really unique experienced & hard to summarise but I highly recommend!!!
