Little Monkey Hostel
The city of Enschede, located in the East of The Netherlands, is neither too big nor too small. We are about 2 hours by train from Amsterdam and 15 minutes from Germany. The train station is only 5 minutes away from us. The hostel is situated in the heart of the city, and just around the corner is the most popular spot, De Oude Markt. We are a brand new hostel that can accommodate up to 80 people. Join us and become part of the team! We are looking for people to assist us with our daily tasks, including making beds, cleaning rooms/facilities, helping at the bar/reception, and more. We host people from all over the world, and the primary language spoken in the hostel is English. If you are seeking an experience of a lifetime, the opportunity to make new friends, improve your English, and work with a fun team of internationals, then this is where you should be!

Hi, I’m Gustavo Fregoni. Originally from Brazil, I took a leap of faith in 2011 and moved to the United Kingdom to volunteer at a hotel and conference centre. That decision completely changed my life. Over the course of a year, I connected with people from all over the world and had the chance to travel to more than 15 countries. But beyond the travel and new friendships, that year helped me grow personally and discover who I truly was.
In 2012, I settled in London and spent four years working in a travel agency, though the desire to explore never really left me. So in 2016, I packed my bags once again and went on a year-long adventure through 26 countries across five continents.
In 2017, life brought me to the Netherlands, where I finally made a lifelong dream come true: I opened my own hostel. Creating a place where people from different backgrounds can come together, connect, and feel at home has been incredibly rewarding.
I’m always happy to connect with our volunteers. Whether you want to hear travel stories, ask questions, or just have a chat, feel free to talk to me. I’m looking forward to meeting you and hearing your story too!
