La Bicyclette Bleue

You will be very much welcomed. You will be given a double room (top floor) and your own shower room (first floor) although some night will have to be spent in the caravan on our land (depending on which rooms are occupied by paying guests) Communal areas are the open stable area and gardens, garden room and stable room. There will be three meals/snacks a day and will have the freedom of the kitchen to make hot drinks etc.
The house is a traditional Normandy "coeur de ferme" and dates back to between 1789 and 1807. We have approximately an acre of land.

We are an Anglo/French couple. Freddy is from Nimes in the south of France and lived in the uk for 25 years and Neil is English. We have been together for almost 20 years now and we moved to Normandy from the uk almost six years ago. We consider ourselves as Europeans. We both speak fluent English, Neil is learning French and Freddy also speaks fluent Spanish and very good Portuguese as well as passable Italian. Neil studied art and Interior design, upcycles furniture and is a trained Health and Safety professional and Freddy worked in Export for many years and has a love for music. He runs a weekly French class for English speakers and directs a community singing group. We have also both acted, directed and written plays and received awards for all three. We have two dogs, two cats and six chickens. We are very flexible in our approach and we hope that you will be equally flexible.
