La Banda takes recruitment seriously. Our staff are picked based on their personality, music taste and life interests. We are a diverse group of friends fully integrated in the social life of the hostel, passionate about meeting new people, and showing them “our” Seville.

The experience was incredible! The staff has been so welcoming since the first days and the structure has been too. I had the possibility to link with a lot of people from all around the world and to forge links with my workmates. I appreciate all the aspect of the three months in Seville and of the volunteering experience. I fully recommend the hostel and the city, in fact I’ll definitely come back there!

Realmente me la pasé muy bien en la banda. Pude conocer a mucha gente de diferentes partes del mundo lo cual está genial, practiqué mi ingles, y el equipo del hostel son muy buena onda. El hostel está super bien ubicado para conocer Sevilla y los turnos son en general relajados, quizá lo único pesado es que quedarte despierto por la noche, pero te adaptas. Algo positivo es que incluye dos comidas al día y para viajeros solos está genial porque conoces mucha gente.
Realmente recomiendo la banda para hacer voluntariado.

Es la segunda vez que hago este voluntariado y la verdad me encanta, es estar en familia, es conocer personas, es disfrutar de cada momento, volveré en el futuro y recomiendo muchísimo esta experiencia.

The night shift comes with its challenges and takes some adjustment, but the incredibly warm and social atmosphere more than makes up for it. This is the kind of place that stays with you. I absolutely recommend the experience.

I loved my stay at La Banda! Sevilla is a lovely city, the hostel is incredible and the staff is amazing. Francesca and Álvaro are great managers and they provide a safe environment to speak about any issues you might face. The nightshifts are generally easy, but it takes some time adjusting to the new sleep schedule. I do think a 2 nights on, 2 nights off schedule can be intense, and I would potentially have preferred a 3-3 schedule. But overall, I learned a lot and would highly recommend! I will be back❤️
