Kurrebo Hostel, Café & Plantschool
It is one of the most beautiful places in south Sweden with an extraordinary lake at the edge of our property. It is a perfect balance between simple comfort and outdoor life in nature. A good place to contemplate, enjoy the peace maybe take a bike ride or have a swim, go for a hike or simply enjoy the view :) You can of course also spent time with other volunteers, play games in the evening or enjoy meals together.
We are a large group of friends that are open minded with the intention to create a place were you can be yourself, in the perfect balance between work and leisure time. We strive to enjoy life fully – open for new, work hard, laugh loud, cry if you need, love with all you have, be free. You will share all the spaces, we will show you around, always available and happy to help and then it is up to you what you make out of it.

My stay at Kurrebo was super relaxing and perfect to get in touch with nature and other volunteers as well as the extremely welcoming staff there:)
The work in the garden varies depending on the season, Kathi and I mostly did weeding around some rosebeds, but also picked apples on a lovely fruit orchard, sometimes we also picked berries for the cakes in the café.
All in all I can only recommend volunteering at Kurrebo - especially in the garden as I did.
Guys, come and support this wonderful community project!

Our stay at Kurrebo was truly wonderful! The work was enjoyable and diverse – from weeding and watering trees to picking berries. The other volunteers were so nice and fun to be around, and I especially loved the community house where we could all relax and spend time together in the evenings. The vegetarian food was so good that, even as a meat eater, I didn’t miss meat at all. All in all, I can definetely recommend this host.

I spent two wonderful weeks at Kurrebo. Lia and the other staff members are very kind and welcoming, you can feel that they really care about the wellbeing of the volunteers. The working hours were always respected and I felt truly appreciated for my work. The nature surrounding the B&B and Café is stunning, I loved going for walks in the forest and swimming in the lake. It was really great to connect with the other volunteers and spend time with each other. Also, the food was always incredible! I can definitely recommend this experience and would love to come back one day! :)

My first Worldpackers experience - and it couldn’t have been better! From the very beginning, I felt incredibly welcome - the entire team is super friendly, open and helpful. Kurrebo is beautifully located in the middle of nature- perfect for relaxing, walking by the lake, or cycling in the surrounding area. The work was varied and really enjoyable thanks to the great team. Highlights: Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere and the lake so close by. Thank you so much for this wonderful time - I am very grateful that I was able to be with you!!

I had a great time at Kurrebo! The staff and volunteers were all very kind, the staff areas were amazing and I loved the food and the cakes:) The work is also what I expected. A lot of different tasks like cleaning, some cutting and preparing the b&bs. Also the nature is very beautiful!
