My experience at Kilronan Hostel was wonderful! From the very first day, I was warmly welcomed by the host, Helene — she’s kind and attentive. The work is simple and easy to finish in the morning, which leaves plenty of time to enjoy the island in the afternoon. The hostel is very well located, close to local pubs — perfect for getting to know the culture and practicing English. The tourist spots are stunning, and the scenery is breathtaking. I’m really grateful for this opportunity and for such an unforgettable experience!

The experience was absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful, full of great energy, and the people are very friendly. The work at the hostel is simple and relaxed, giving plenty of time to explore the island and enjoy everything it has to offer. Helene is wonderful — I felt welcomed and respected at all times. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine and fun experience!

The hostel was a great place to volunteer at. Dave and Helene were so nice, the work was straightforward, and Inis Mor is a beautiful island to explore. Most days the work was completed in two hours or less because it was the end of the busy season and guests weren’t checking out every day. You have access to a full kitchen to cook your own meals. The other volunteers I shared a room with were fun and made the experience that much better.

No puedo recomendar más esta experiencia. Dave y Helen son muy amables e inmediatamente te hacen sentir como en casa. El hostal tiene una cocina muy completa y una sala de estar muy cómoda donde es muy agradable pasar el tiempo. El trabajo es muy sencillo y depende de la temporada, pero normalmente son muy pocas horas de trabajo al día. La isla es hermosa y ofrece muchos lugares increíbles para admirar. De verdad este fue un lugar increíble para colaborar y estoy muy feliz y agradecida por haber vivido esta experiencia <3

If you have the opportunity to volunteer at this hostel, don't hesitate! The people are friendly, the place is peaceful, and the island is incredible. Helene is a sweetheart and very kind. Dave is very fair.
