Kamala Beach Hostel
Welcome to Kamala, beachfront living!
The ideal combination between relaxation and party!
We are located in a privileged spot in front of the beach, far but not too much from the main city. In a few minutes you can get to Montañita center, where you can enjoy the nightlife and party. There are places to eat out 5 minutes walking from the hostel, also to buy food.
With us you will have a rustic environment where you can meet new people and learn a little about the activities we do to run the hostel.
We are a small staff, like a small family where we care about each other's well-being. We hope you take away the best experiences and memories from the time you share with us.

Working on the beach, waking up and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean is something you never forget. At Kamala Hostel, I found much more than just a place to stay, it was a true transformation. Living simply, connected to the ocean, made me rediscover what really matters. A special thanks to Flor, whose energy and perspective on life left me with so much. It was a period that changed me without me even realizing it, and one I’ll never forget. I truly hope to return soon.

Kamala se siente hogar desde el primer día.
Pablo es un anfitrión muy atento, siempre busca que te sientas a gusto durante tu estadía. Las tareas son sencillas y los horarios son rotativos lo que lo hace genial para hacer distintas actividades. El alojamiento cuenta con todo lo necesario, camas cómodas, Baño privado con agua caliente, cocina, jardín, piscina y salida directa a la playa.
Recomiendo este voluntariado 100%

el lugar es un paraiso a 15min caminando del centro de Montañita, ideal para disfrutar la playa y los atardeceres de forma mas tranquila. Conocí Kamala en temporada baja y algunas condiciones eran distintas al no tener tanto turismo, depende la época que viajes recomiendo hablar bien antes de ir las actividades y horarios. Gracias por recibirme disfruté mucho los juegos y espacios del hostal🤿

Kamala hostel is an amazing place! I had a wonderful experience. It’s a perfect place to chill and relax but your not to far from Mantañita. I will definitely go back!
