Kali Land & InanItah Fire Season
From August 15th, 2025 to February 15th, 2026, this space will be available for someone seeking a peaceful retreat immersed in nature. It’s an ideal opportunity if you’re craving quiet time for personal reflection or working on a creative or visionary project, such as writing a book or developing a new idea. You might simply be in need of a break from the noise of daily life.
While the environment offers solitude, there are also chances to connect with others. The nearby towns of Santa Cruz and Balgüe have hostels, restaurants, and a vibrant local community for when you feel like being social.
This role does come with a responsibility. You’ll need to be present twice each day to feed the dogs, once in the early morning and once in the late afternoon or early evening. The dogs are fed a whole foods diet. Every other day, we cook rice to mix with locally sourced animal products like meat, milk, and bones. We try to minimize the use of factory-made pet foods, although they may be used occasionally if needed.
As for the human diet here, the general vibe is mostly vegetarian, although flexibility and exceptions are possible.
From August 15th, 2025 to February 15th, 2026, this is a friendly, family-style environment where volunteers can expect to be treated with warmth, respect, and a sense of shared purpose. During this time, we offer a supportive and grounded space for personal projects, connection with nature, and simple community living.
Outside of this season, beginning each August, we shift into the InanItah Fire Season, a transformational living and learning space dedicated to exploring new, evolutionary ways of life. Let us know if you’d like more information about that experience.
