Because it is fun. Because you will meet a lot of good people. Because you will learn a lot.
We are working with volunteers for 10 years and we think that it is always a benefit for the volunteer and also for the Hostel. We think volunteering in places like ours is a perfect opportunity for young people to travel the world on a small budget.

I am Claas and I run Hostel Albania since 2009. We have a great team on staff and we are very carefull in choosing our volunteers as we think they shuld fit into our team.

My time at the hostel has been amazing, I have connected with people from all over the world, met different cultures and spoken different languages. Melissa and Joaquin are in charge of making everyone feel like you are at home, the dynamics and tasks are well distributed and you have enough free time to do other activities, I completely recommend this place.

My experience at hostel Albania was amazing, from the host and the managers to the guest were all amazing people.
We had our little community of Latinos and it was amazing, it felt like home during my whole stay. ☺️
And the way everyone treated my dog was just really sweet. I really appreciate the chance of having my dog with me while volunteering at the hostel.
Would definitely come back!!

I had a great time volunteering in Albania! The hostel is in a great location - walking distance from the city centre with grocery stores, restaurants and cafes just downstairs. The hostel is cozy and the rooftop is the perfect place to hang out. The work is not hard - basic cleaning of the hostel, making beds, reception etc. and Class was flexible with our schedule letting us have a few days off in a row which let us travel and explore other places around Albania!
