Thuan was very sweet and responsive to communications. Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet her in person as she was away on business. But her staff welcomed me and laid down the expectations and schedule. Working with the kiddos was fun as they enjoyed teaching me a bit of Vietnamese as well. Volunteer hours are generally at the homestay from 6-8pm during the week, leaving plenty of time during the day to do your own thing. Weekends, you'll be going inland to teach at another school.

The work itself was very fun and fullfilling. The teacher you work with is the kindest. The communication (especially host) isn't good. The previous volunteer told me everything. The host does not live at the house anymore, wich is obvious as the house is dirty and the volunteers are not expected to clean. The Kitchen has only 1 stove pit and shower has no warm water. Lots of pest aswell. The privacy is nice tho. So if you don't mind the living conditions, I would recommendent the experience as you get close to locals. Especially in the weekend at the host's parents house. They are the best!

I returned to Thuan after my stay at the start of the year.
This visit felt even better.
The kids learned fast and kept the room full of energy.
They surprised me with how quickly they picked up new things.
The teachers stayed close and guided me when I needed direction.
Their support made each day feel easy.
I left with the same warm feeling that made me come back in the first place.

I absolutely loved the experience at Heaven's! The kids were AMAZING, Tephy and Lina were incredible!
On the weekends, we go to Tephy's hometown to teach English there, and we stay with her parents. I want to thank them again for welcoming me with such warmth! They cooked for us, we sang karaoke, went to cafes, pagodas, and it was great. It can be a bit tiring because most of the working hours are on the weekend, but it's alright! I definitely recommend volunteering with Tephy!

A wonderful experience with an amazing team, the missions are teaching with the kids meanwhile you’re playing with them :) thanks a lot for Teffy’s hospitality and her family’s one who were so welcoming ☺️ definitely recommend this volunteering!
