Let's do something for the planet and our young generations at the eco-village Ayuttaya, Thailand. Ayuttya is tha capital city before bangkok far from bangkok one hour. this project for exchange tradition also.
Would you like to do something for the planet? Help us developing and looking after a project for nature and the younger generation with mindfulness practice. We welcome you all to help build, develop and look after our Eco-village...
We have just started building an international Eco-village and we need a lot of help with preparing land for our organic farm, painting huts and wall, looking after the trees and vegetables and cook as well as make the village looks nice such as using recycled materials decorate the surrounding area and sometimes help less fortunate people in the community. While doing those Eco activities local students and others local people will be able to practice their English naturally while working with you.
In the future once the village ready, we simply want to help local students who can not afford to practice English in an expensive international school or abroad to have an opportunity to practice English with international people and we also hope them to engage themselves more with nature rather than spend too much time on technology. We are not making this project for profit we wish to pay respect to the environment and support people who wish to improve their English.
If you like this idea and wish to be part of developing the village, please message us, come and lets develop the Eco-village together. We do not want you to feel like you come here to work for us. Please come here because you want to do something for nature and the younger generation. We only want every people have Happy life, Happy time, Happy work and Happy Experience.
if you can bring your own sleeping bag, personal water bottle and spray or cream to prevent mosquito. That would be great! In case many people come here the same time.

Why volunteer abroad in Thailand?
Thailand has a reputation for friendly locals, beautiful landscapes, and delicious food -- what’s not to love? Thailand regularly tops the list of travel destinations in Asia due to its rich cultural traditions, delicious food, and diverse wildlife.

We truly believe that it’s a fantastic location and here are five reasons why we think you should volunteer abroad in Thailand:
The cost of living in Thailand is very low. This is one of the major appeals for those coming to Thailand as it means that there is something to suit every traveler’s budget.
Thailand is a major hub for travel, making it easy to get to and from.
Thailand’s tropical climate -- and who doesn’t like warm weather and sunshine?
Stunning scenery across the country means no matter where your volunteer abroad in Thailand project is based, you’ll have incredible landscapes to look at.

Thailand is known as the “Land of Smiles” thanks to friendly locals and superior hospitality. You’ll never feel alone amongst the helpful, courteous, and kind Thai people.
Volunteer abroad in Thailand opportunities
There is a fantastic range of gap year and volunteer abroad in Thailand opportunities, but there are three clear categories that a majority of projects fit into:
Teaching English - A large number of volunteer abroad in Thailand projects are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to come teach English to young children, Monks and Novices, and school aged students throughout the country.
Farming - Help on organic farms in the Thai countryside
Who should volunteer abroad in Thailand?
Thailand is a great fit for any eager volunteer. Many of the farming and wildlife projects in Thailand require some sort of physicality, so it’s best that you apply to these only if you have a moderate level of fitness or feel comfortable moving around in the tropical heat.
Teaching projects tend to look for volunteers with a bit more time to dedicate, as this leads to a better connection with students and more continuity in curriculum.
While there are a variety of volunteer abroad in Thailand projects that need helpers, individuals with experience or interest in teaching English are extremely sought after. If English is your native language, you have previously taught, or you have a TEFL certificate, it’s likely you’ll have great success in your application process due to the demand.
Is Thailand safe for volunteers?
In terms of general safety, Thailand is no different to traveling anywhere else in that you just need to be aware of your surroundings.
The main issue for travelers in Thailand is pickpocketing and tourist scams in large cities like the capital, Bangkok. For instance, tourists often get overcharged for taxi rides. As long as you keep your wits about you while you are out exploring, you’ll be fine. Also, don’t forget to smile; you’re in the Land of Smiles after all, and the friendlier you are to the locals, the friendlier they’ll be to you. We do advise that you have appropriate travel and health insurance when travelling to Thailand.
Visa to volunteer abroad in Thailand?
We is not paid work, so you will be entering Thailand on a tourist visa.Tourists from 56 countries, including the U.K, Canada, and the United States, can enter Thailand on a free visa (known as a Visa Exemption) on arrival for a stay of up to 30 days.

I spent one week with Pim and I feel so grateful for everything ! I have learnt a lot from her, she is very inspiring and has many different projects. We talked a lot about meditation and Bouddhism. I spent some time in the countryside with her, where I had a lot of time for myself, but also in another village to teach English to young students. Thank you so much Pim ! I wish you the best in your life 🙏

Pim is an amazing person who welcomed us with an open heart and mind. She taught us so much about local culture, history and Buddhism. Being older travellers, we found this experience to be beyond what we expected. A highlight was teaching a group of local children. They were excited and willing to speak English with us and we did many activities with them. Pim has many plans for helping the children and is very committed to what she does. We hope to come back in the near future and we wish Pim the very best for the continuation of her project. I highly recommend for people of all ages.

It was a wonderful experience. Pim is a lovely host, very attentive. Unfortunately, teaching depends on the children's willingness to come. But I was able to help her renovate a house and do some gardening. She organised visits to temples and taught me a lot about Buddhism and Thai traditions. I can't recommend this experience highly enough if you want to take part in a great project and discover the Thai countryside.
