Hi! I'm Linda, originally from Vietnam and now the owner of Champa Inn Hostel here in Vang Vieng, Laos. I’ve always loved travel, culture, and connecting with people from around the world. That’s why I started this hostel — to create a cozy and welcoming space where travelers can feel at home and truly experience local life. Our team is small, friendly, and made up of local staff who are kind, easygoing, and always ready to help. As a volunteer, you’ll be treated with respect, honesty, and care — just like a member of our family. We believe in good communication, shared responsibility, and working together with a positive spirit. At Champa Inn, we value cultural exchange and personal connection. Whether you're helping at reception, supporting events, or bringing your own creative ideas, your presence matters and is always appreciated. We also want you to enjoy your time here — explore nature, relax, learn, and make great memories. We look forward to welcoming you into our Champa Inn family!

Linda has a huge heart, so caring. The hostel is really nice, when I was there there was not many people because of low season so was very quiet. So grateful for the experience 🩷

I enjoyed my time volunteering at Champa Inn on the reception, the host Linda and her daughter Alice were very kind, as were the other staff. The accommodation at the hostel was also pretty comfortable.

Breakfast was poor, diner was ok, room and bed were fine, toilet was often smelly, discount on drinks was only on alcohol or soda, discounts on tours were not described and not interesting. Pictures are not fully representative of hostel.
Linda does not providence any organisation.
When I arrived i feel like I was not expected. There was no tour of hostel, no presentation to staff and other volunteers. Training is very light and sporadic. During the day, volunteers are alone, some are left demotivated without tasks.
And i left before because i feel some guests were not well treated, one cried.
