If you’ve ever dreamed of living right in front of the ocean, this is your chance. 🌊 Our home is just steps away from the legendary wave of Cerro Azul, where you can surf every day, explore ancient ruins, enjoy fresh seafood, and experience the authentic vibe of a peaceful fishing town.
Volunteering with us means more than just helping — you’ll be part of a family project built with love and recycled materials, powered by solar energy and our own water well. In return for your support with small tasks like building, gardening, or helping us improve our English, you’ll enjoy an immersive cultural experience, flexible schedules, and plenty of time to discover the beauty of Peru.
Here, you’ll find a balance of adventure, community, and relaxation — making it the perfect place to leave a mark while creating unforgettable memories. ✨
We’re a Peruvian family who started this dream three years ago, when my father began building our sustainable home by the beach. We’re passionate about surfing, simple living, and sharing our culture with people from around the world. As a volunteer, you’ll be treated like part of the family: we’ll cook together, share stories, and support you in exploring everything Cerro Azul and its surroundings have to offer. We believe in kindness, respect, and positive energy — and we want every volunteer to feel welcome, safe, and inspired during their stay.

Este fue el voluntariado más especial que he hecho. Fui acogido por una familia increíble y me sentí como en casa.Oscar, un padre queridísimo; Chani, la madre especial de la familia; y Mariasol, a quien solo le faltaban alas de ángel. Personas extremadamente maravillosas, siempre atentas a nuestro bienestar.Estoy muy agradecido a Dios por haberlos conocido. Aprendí mucho, tuvimos excelentes intercambios y momentos increíbles.El lugar es hermoso, frente a la playa, con buenas instalaciones, un desayuno excelente, trabajos tranquilos y horarios respetados y flexibles.Sin duda quiero volver !

Mi querido Sol. Fue una experiencia maravillosa conocer y poder trabajar con Sol do Brasil jaja. Es una persona amable, de carácter apacible, dócil y muy cariñosa. Colaborador con empeño como pocos, no existe el tiempo para él cuando trabaja y casi siempre hay que pararlo jaja. Tiene una gran riqueza espiritual y es muy abierto al respecto. Lamentamos tu partida querido Sol, pero nos reconforta tu promesa de que vas a regresar pronto. Te esperamos amigo. Dios te acompañe y te bendiga.

Difficile de mettre en mot notre vécu.. on a été accueillie dans une famille bienveillante et chaleureuse avec des projets plein la tête. Rapidement on s’est senti comme un membre de la famille. Le lieu parfait pour améliorer son espagnol, et en apprendre plus sur la culture péruvienne, surfer, chiller, être aimé et participer à un super projet.
On voyage en couple avec notre chienne et le lieu est 100% adapté pour elle.
Les taches sont variées et le desayuno avec les tortas de mamita !
Notre famille peruvienne ! On part le cœur rempli et on reviendra sur notre retour.

Our experience with Beca and Jeremi has been wonderful and productive, both personally and for our project. They are hardworking, proactive, kind, and trustworthy. They have easily earned a place in our family. Oh! And we mustn’t forget Ria, a totally affectionate and well-behaved dog in every way. We’re going to miss them. See you soon, friends. My time at Cerro Azul's Surf House/Casa Clara was incredible. The family is the best and funniest family in the world and you instantly feel at home. You will have alot of converstations and they are very patient and help you if your spanish is not that well jet.
The hours are really respected and you can figure out a schedule together if you want to explore the surroundings. The place is perfect if you would like to learn how to surf and aswell if you are already advanced.
Thank you for this unforgettable experience! I am going to miss all of you❤️
