Casa Verde

Do you enjoy nature, tranquility, and meaningful work? We’re looking for friendly, hands-on volunteers to join us in the peaceful countryside. Whether you love gardening, animals, light maintenance, or simply helping out – there’s something for everyone here.
Surrounded by nature and fresh air, this is the perfect place to slow down, connect, and contribute.
Come lend a hand and experience the joy of rural life!

We are Greet and Guido from Belgium, living on a peaceful hilltop together with our daughter and her husband. Guido has a background in the event industry and organic farming, while Greet is a midwife and nurse with a caring heart. We value kindness, respect, and open communication. Volunteers can expect to be treated like part of the family – with warmth, appreciation, and trust. We believe in sharing not just the work, but also good meals, stories, and laughter. Our home is a place where people feel welcome, supported, and inspired by nature and community.

Greet & Guido were truly a delight to have as hosts! And it was there first time to! Very thoughtful/ respectful/ considerate. Every action they did was to make sure I was comfortable/ enjoying my time there. The hours was respected and the big garden was beautiful to be helping in. Each day was different tasks that helped the family directly to Maintain/ harvest well from the garden area. They had the proper equipment/items needed to do things safely/ efficiently. They listen to you and enjoy getting to know you. It was a pleasant experience, it was an honor! 🙏🏽
