Bongs Glamping

Our place is a rare rural healing place. There are also many guests who stay for a long time. The reason is that many people come to feel nature and relax away from the city center. Travelers will be satisfied, and not only will they be able to volunteer, but they will also be able to relax and find leisure in their lives.

What is the main task that they will contribute? A. Organizing and cleaning guests' rooms, organizing garbage dumps, managing gardens, organizing desks and chairs in front of the swimming pool, and receiving guests if they speak Korean well. And collecting garbage and loading it into trucks Have you planned the shift hours or the day offs? A.Of course. There will be days off because there are not many customers every day, and there will be a lot of free time because there is not much work. What do you expect from them? A.We want our place to be more active with the division of work, and to be clean and clean, so that our guests are not uncomfortable. I hope it will be a harmonious place to build relationships with customers. Are you willing to teach them basic tasks? Or do you require any previous experience or notion? There is already a cleaning staff here who can speak English and Filipino perfectly. She has worked for two years and will teach you a list of things to work on. There will be no difficulty in communicating, and she is so kind that she can learn even if she makes mistakes. Do you have a team member who will guide them? There's a cleaning staff and a boss. The boss will share the overall role and tell you about the work.

Bong’s farm/glamping and especially Jii and her family slowly became a second home on the other side of the world. From the beginning, I wasn’t seen as “a volunteer,” but simply as a friend. The kindness of the Korean people, their quiet care for others, and the way culture shows up in everyday life made this experience deeply human. The work was simple, nothing rushed or overwhelming. There were moments when I completely forgot I was volunteering. This place reminded me to slow down, to be present, and to appreciate how little you actually need to feel at home. A part of me will stay here :)

This experience was so good that it is hard to truly describe the magic in words. Jii was super open and welcomed us to her family and other locals and really made sure you never felt lonely. In that way Jii is more than just a host. She's also a wonderful and caring friend! In terms of living environment then the rooms were nice, warm and clean and the nature surrounding it is so beautiful. In Bongs you'll have everything you need. I'm 100% coming back to this wholesome place!

My time at Bong's Glamping was surprisingly amazing. The location was amazing, the surrounding nature was beautiful, our room was great, and the glamping atmosphere was cosy. The area doesn't have a lot of foreign tourists, so interactions with the locals were genuine and nice.
Jii was incredibly nice and receptive, she treated us fairly, made sure we always had what we needed and were always comfortable with the work and hours.+
This was my first time in Korea, and I didn't know much about its culture, but I was pleasantly surprised, and now I definitely want to go back. 괜찮아 괜찮아

It makes me so happy to hear that your first trip to Korea turned out so good — and that Bongs was part of it!
Our area isn’t a big tourist spot, so I’m really glad you enjoyed the real, local vibe here.
And honestly, hearing that you felt comfortable and well taken care of means everything to me.
Thanks for communicating so well while you were here — it made it so easy to look after you guys!

Whenever you come back to Korea, you better visit again. 괜찮아 괜찮아

My time at Bongs Glamping was truly wonderful. I had so so much fun with the staff and volunteers. I felt looked after, the work was chill and the accomodation was stellar. Geochang, Suseungdae, and the surrounding areas are absolute hidden gems of Korea everyone should experience, especially if they're a nature lover. And if you fancy escaping the mountains, it's pretty easy to get to bigger cities, especially Daegu and Busan on your days off. I miss this place already, and I definitely plan to come back. If you do a worldpackers in South Korea and it's not at Bongs, you're doing it wrong.

We’re really grateful you connected so well with our staff,
and thank you for capturing the charm of Geochang and Suseungdae so beautifully.
We still remember how you’d sneak off to Daegu or Busan on your days off — your energy was amazing!

Hearing that you already miss this place… that hit us right in the heart.
Come back anytime.
Bongs will always be here, with the same warmth, waiting for you.

Next time you visit, we’ll make it even more relaxing and even more fun for you :)

I was very lucky I got to volunteer at the glamping for a second time and I loved it even more than the first time. I absolutely love this place. It has become like a second home for me thanks to Jii and her family as well as the other volunteers!
The work is not difficult at all if you work well together. How much work there is really depends on the day.
Geochang is a really nice city. And it is quite easy to travel to different places in Korea from here.
I would definitely recommend people to volunteer at this place! I really hope that future volunteers have as much fun here as I had.
