B&B TREKKING Y SENDERISMO
Welcome to our Bed & Breakfast in the heart of Choachí!
What do we do? More than just offering a place to stay, we create experiences designed for renewal and balance. Our plans include mountain and páramo hikes, guided bike tours, bird watching, yoga sessions, body massages, beer workshops, visits to the region’s coffee farms, and more; we have a wide variety of activities to make the stay of our guests unforgettable. We are committed to providing a personalized experience that makes our guests feel at home from the moment they arrive.
Choachí is located just an hour and a half from Bogotá in the department of Cundinamarca, Colombia, and captivates with its natural charm characterized by different thermal floors and a great variety of waterfalls, including the highest in Colombia: La Chorrera, with a length of 590 meters. Surrounded by mountains and páramos, it is an ideal destination for those seeking to reconnect with nature and enjoy authentic hospitality.
Our B&B has a floor of private rooms, perfect for couples and friends, as well as a floor with a shared room. Each floor is designed with common areas, and we have a landscaped patio and a dining room where we serve homemade breakfast to our guests.
It is located in a quiet area of the town, just three blocks from the final stop of the public transportation coming from Bogotá.
My name is Connie Llanos, manager and owner of the Bed and Breakfast. I studied psychology and later specialized in Do no Harm and Peacebuilding. I have extensive experience in social projects and individual counseling. I trained as a wellness and nutrition coach and have also advised people on improving their self-care practices. I got into tourism through this focus on wellness: by changing my self-care practices, I began hiking. In a very important experience in my life, while hiking in Bolivia, I longed for nearby places to stay so I wouldn't have to return so quickly to the city and, especially, to stress my body. So, when I moved to Choachi three years ago and started hiking, I wanted to create a place to share with others—a place where I would have liked to stay during my impactful experience in Bolivia. Many things have happened since then, and now I understand that the focus on self-care is also about caring for the planet we live on. So, we are creating a net working in Choachi to improve our land care practices and inspire tourists to seek new ways to care for their relationship with the environment, culture, and personal well-being.
