We are a new hostel trying to venture into a new market. We started with a hotel in 2019 and it has been ups and down with the pandemic hitting the world. After the pandemic, number of hostel in Langkawi started to declined and we saw it as an opportunity. Now we are looking for and experienced traveler who has been travelling to share the knowledge with us and vice versa.

Our place is own by Malaysian and we are happy to share all our knowledge in in regards to Malaysian diversify race, cultural, religion, flora fauna, and destination of interest for traveller especially backpackers who plan to spend time exploring Malaysia. We are also happy share all our know managing a hostel or hotel based on our experience to those who are interested. We will be offering place to sleep, breakfast and some locals Langkawian perks and benefit (discount on activities or tours etc) to all volunteer staying with us.

My experience at Arch Dormitory was amazing. It was the first hostel where I volunteered, and the way the schedules were organized, along with all the information prepared for easy reference, made everything super simple. Juan was always there to help whenever needed, and the team was incredible. I truly recommend this experience — it was amazing for me!

I had a nice time at Arch Dormitorio! Juan and Dina are both really nice. The work is easy, you're mostly self-trained with videos and by asking questions to other volunteers, but Juan is always reachable by text message if needed. The staff room and bathroom aren't the best compare to the guests' dorms, but still ok.
Otherwise the hostel is really nice and cosy, and really well located. If you are looking for a nice place to chill for a while, you can definitely go there!

I love my volunteering here. I was supposed to stay 3 weeks but i decided to extend and i think i will be here for a few more weeks. The location is perfect, 2 min from the beach, night market across the street, lots of restaurants and shops around. It’s only 4 hours of work a day, cleaning and reception, and then you are free. The hostel is cosy and very social, the other volunteers are incredible. Juan and Dina are so kind. Amazing place to volunteer

Mi experiencia en malasia fue definitivamente extraordinaria gracias a este voluntariado, conocía a muchas personas e hice amigos alrededor del mundo. Y aparte me emergí en la cultura local, Juan siempre respetó los tiempos y horarios acordados es un manager muy tranquilo y un excelente ser humano, él siempre está abierto a cualquier tipo de comunicación o al pendiente de tu seguridad o cualquier cosa que necesites.
