One of the Best Experiences of My Life Working with the animals at Danny's project was incredible. The love and dedication from everyone, like Jonathan and Adda at the Hummingbird Park, Cesar's family, and Ricardo's native community, made it truly unforgettable. The variety of work was so vast, it's impossible to sum it all up. I'm so grateful to have been part of this beautiful project and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing experience.

Wir durften eine unserer Flitterwochen bei Danny verbringen. Wir hatten nicht viele Erwartungen, ausser Tieren helfen können und Pachamama was zurückgeben. Doch unsere Dankbarkeit für das tatsächlich erlebte, können wir kaum in Worte fassen. Lieber Danny – du bist ein so besonderer Mensch, mit so tollen Werten. Du hast uns in so kurzer Zeit eine Junglefamily und die schönsten Erinnerungen an Peru geschenkt. Wir durften in dieser Woche an fünf ganz individuellen Projekten arbeiten und haben so vieles über das Land, die Menschen, Tiere und auch über uns selbst gelernt. gracias por todo! <3

This was by far THE HARDEST place to leave! Daniel and his mother are so amazing and the most genuine kind souls I've ever met in my entire life. Not only will you be inspired by the locals and indigenous communities but you will be inspired by the incredible wildlife you get to work with! the animals touch your heart and I'm so happy I was able to make a lasting impact by helping build fences, walls, and much more in the sanctuary. The rooms at the hostel are amazing and you get HOT SHOWERS! 😍 this was an experience that I will never forget. The Amazon now has a special place in my heart <3

Danny cares for his volunteers' well-being and experience and would explain about the environment/ plants/animals so it was super informative and educational. You will definitely get to be hands-on with the various projects - animals at the sanctuary Los Loritos, hummingbird park, raintorest conservation area in the Amazon just to name a tew. Daniel is one of the most dedicated people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Daniel and the amazonas initiative not only provide an unmatched educational experience for the volunteers, they also help educate the locals on sustainability and ways they can help preserve the rainforest. You will have a wide range of remarkabley unique experiences ranging from Helping maintaine the animals at dos loritos, Exploring the deep jungle on the preserve, meeting the local and indigenous communities, making meaningful connections and so much more. I highly recommend this experince to anyone ❤️🫶🏻

One of the most educational experiences I've had and up there with the best Worldpackers projects. Danny truly cares about the conservation work. It might be a pricey experience but you know your money is going to the right places. I wish I could've stayed longer.

I can highly recommend this volunteering to everyone. Especially if you stay longer than one week, you will got deep insights in how people are living in town and connect to the outstunning nature. Daniel cares a lot about his volunteers, he's well organized and flexible! I can't complain on anything.

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Danny. The project, the shelter is deeply inspiring and (true to the name) fueled by love. Danny made us feel welcome from day 1 and kept things lively and fun throughout the whole stay. The work was fulfilling, the meals were delicious, the rooms were charming and comfortable. I learned so much from Danny (and the other members of the project). Their breadth of knowledge and passion for the shelter is admirable. Feeling sad to leave such an amazing experience, but ultimately so grateful and lucky to have had the chance to help.
