The detail the course leader went into was helpful.
It has brought me more awareness to some of the most important things world packers stand for, that volunteering isn't just a cheap and easy way to travel, but rather a two way exchange. It's important to be ready/prepared to keep your commitments during volunteering. So finding a host and project that works for you to ensure that you get the most out of the experience and have a good relationship with everyone! It was also helpful finding out details like certification and how hosts, and places are picked by world packers.
