A good project to spend a few weeks living in a city in the countryside of Pakistan and understanding more about how normal Pakistanis live. Bahawalpur may have a huge population but has the atmosphere of a small city. Students are all in their early 20s, preparing for college, and need to practice their English. Mr Yousef lets you free to do any kind of activity you want with them. House is comfortable, with 24h electric energy, wifi, fans, running (cold) water, a kitchen and a private room. It's located in a residential area, about 40minwalk from the city centre so a bit isolated but calm.

I started travelling at 16 years old on a student exchange and haven't stopped since (I'm 29 now). I have lived in 12 countries and visited more than 90, always backpacking, hitchhiking, staying with locals, and of course, doing volunteer work. I've volunteered in hostels, camps, NGOs, museums, schools and many other places. I work as a nanny, childcare specialist and parenting mentor focusing on Montessori pedagogy and respectful parenting. I travel alone and try to inspire other women to do the same. I am passionate about history and sociology and always try to deeply understand that aspect of the countries I visit.
I've worked in so many places during my university, but mostly related with child education and care. Also, I've volunteer in many places, mostly related as well with children/education or hostels, and a few related to farming/gardening.
