The experience

It is both good to work in the kitchen and learn the sustainable practices we have in place in the kitchen, but also where it all begins, in the gardens and grounds. Recent volunteers have made progress on some dividing walls we are building and on weed control. But at the same time, I made desserts for the guests.

Activities & Shift

We are a small establishment and therefore need our volunteers to be flexible. Jobs and duties can be adjusted to fit the volunteer, so if something isn't working out for someone, we can adjust. By definition, "volunteer" can mean many things, but most of all, our expectation is that you have committed to help a certain number of hours, so we expect you to fullfill those hours with love and warmth and not have to be pushed or looked after to complete the hours agreed to.

Rules

-you will learn rules of the kitchen, filling water and keeping things functioning. We are fairly flexible.
