The farm was awesome! Definitely the place to be if you want an authentic experience and to learn more about local Karen culture. We didn't work a whole lot, but the farm and Mama Sao were really open to teaching and showed the volunteers how to learn by doing. The sleeping accommodations are rustic - my hut was open air with a mosquito net. I really liked this aspect and felt very connected to the natural surrounding! Would recommend this experience if you feel up for spending all of your time outside. A fantastic learning experience, I hope to go back one day!

It's an excellent place to connect with locals, understand thai and Karen culture and be around nature. Mama sao and the farm are very flexible relaxed and kind hosts, they really integrate you in their family. It's a good place to relax if you have been travelling a lot and need to rest. It's better when there are more volunteers because if not it can be boring sometimes. This is because most of the time there is not real work to do, so don't expect a 3h shift. I've had a great time with mama cooking and chatting, send all my love and support to this family💕.

An amazing experience on the farm! Was only supposed to be here for a week but I have extended without an end date in sight! Very very friendly and welcoming, the farm and Mama make sure you are happy and part of the family. Great meals and helping out where help is needed. Will definitely be back another year when in Thailand again!

The farm saos farm was so lovely. Mama and the farm made it feel like home. They are both happy bubbly people. The hours were quite flexible. Its location is beautiful in the mountains surrounded by farms. I learnt a lot about Karen culture from farming to broom making. Thank you so much. I hope to come back soon.

The farm is such a kind person with a big heart and a smile all the time. My 2 weeks here were amazing, the place although remote is beautiful and I enjoyed everyday here. I have learnt about Bamboo construction, local food and agriculture. ขอบคุณ the farm. Really grateful to have been here and I will definitely come back in the future Kop

The farm is a great man with a big heart. He is always looking after you to be sure you are eating enough and everything is good. I had a short stay but it was so nice. The farm is beautiful, you will enjoy the peace and also can go to the waterfall. The job is easy and no many hours. Definitely recommend if you want be in peace around nature and like a simple life.

So grateful for the four days I was able to spend with Mama Sao. During the time I visited (early December) there wasn't really any farming going on, there weren't any other volunteers present, and the farm had to be away for work in Chiang Mai, so I just got to hangout and enjoy a few quiet days in the fields with Mama - doing what I could to help prepare meals, learning how to make a Karen bag, and experiencing life with only the barest necessities. To enjoy the experience, you do need to be prepared to live without any modern conveniences, but these hosts could not be more welcoming.

The farm is So caring! I felt welcomed and safe as soon as i arrived. The tasks are very relaxed and the accomodation is very basic but you get to live the REAL karen life, woth amazing people and no prejudices at all. You get amazing food and to sing along thai songs! Thanks the farm, thanks village, and thanks other volunteers!

The mattress and pillow didn't work for me since I couldn't get quality sleep on any of the nights but the remaining time with the farm was very therapeutic. He's very welcoming and a great host. You really have to convince him to give you work because he believes and letting others rest and enjoy while he works but once you convince him then you'd get fair amount of work to do. the farm's singing was a treat to the ears and hope when I come back there are more songs to listen.
