The experience

Join a fun, tropical hostel-style project in Placencia! We need an outgoing, tech-savvy volunteer to support guest check-ins, keep common areas tidy, and help create an amazing social vibe. You’ll host game nights or simple dinners and make Reels/TikToks by the pool.
You get: free bed, pool access, WiFi & free bikes!
Minimum stay: 1 week. 🌴📱✨

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

Our volunteer exchange focuses on creating a warm, social, and welcoming atmosphere for guests from around the world. You’ll assist with light reception tasks, help keep shared spaces inviting, and collaborate on content creation to boost our online presence.
This program is perfect for someone outgoing, independent, and comfortable engaging with travelers. You’ll also have plenty of free time to explore Belize’s beaches, islands, and reef.

1. Free Access to Belize: Free bed (in exchange for 20-25 hrs/week) means you can stay longer and explore the expensive Placencia Peninsula on a budget.
2. Ultimate Immersion: You become an insider, getting local tips and making deeper connections than a typical tourist.
3. Use of FREE Bikes & Pool: Enjoy full access to essential amenities (pool, kitchen, WiFi) plus free transportation around the area.
4. Social & Creative Role: The job involves fun tasks like creating social media content (Reels/TikToks) and hosting fun guest social nights.
5. Reef Access: Get two full days off per week to explore the famous Belize Barrier Reef.

Activities & Shift

Greeting guests and helping with check-ins
Keeping common areas clean and organized
Hosting relaxed social nights (games, dinner, music)
Creating TikToks/Reels and taking fun content by the pool & host social nights (dinners/games).
Helping maintain a friendly, positive vibe around the property

Schedule:
Approx. 20–25 hours per week, with 2 days off.
Shifts are flexible and may include morning or early evening times depending on guest flow.
