The experience

We have lots of different garden types, one we call the veiled garden the newest one has an anti aphid cloth over it, the second we call a tunnel house which basically a big green house, then we have 2 other large outdoor gardens both netted to keep the birds out.

We do hugel culture and are organic, theres lots of planting weeding and harvesting

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner Indonesian

Over 18 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

So basically we want you to help for about 4 hours per day, and we will provide you with accommodation (caravan with a heat pump)and breakfast, lunch and dinner (usually with the family) You are expected to help with cooking to do as much as the other family members do. The hours are flexible based on what you need to get done and also the weather. Quite happy for you to do a flexi model so more help one day, say 6 or 8 and less help or none the next day. Overall the hours need to stack up but we are not tracking it closely, it is more task based.
