The experience

Our seaview rooftop hostel cafe and bar needs bar and kitchen staff who can cook, make drinks, encourage and take orders from the guests and from community people who are attending our events. We need a confident, upbeat, communicative person who can be positive and social with a mixed crowd. Restaurant experience is desired and first priority.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.


What you get

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

You’ll help prepare meals and snacks for guests, organize ingredients, and support the day-to-day kitchen routine. This is a chance to share your culinary talent and learn new recipes in a multicultural environment, surrounded by travelers, artists, and nature lovers.

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate short-order cook to help prepare quick and delicious meals for our guests in beautiful Arambol! You’ll be part of a relaxed and friendly team, creating tasty dishes while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of one of India’s most inspiring beach towns.

If you’re organized, self-motivated, and love connecting with people from around the world, this experience combines great food, creativity, and community living.

We encourage creativity and love when volunteers bring their own culinary flair while learning local recipes too.


Activities & Shift

• Prepare quick, high-quality dishes and snacks.
• Organize ingredients and keep the kitchen area clean.
• Suggest new menu ideas and help source local ingredients.
• Share and learn new recipes with the team.
🕒 30 hours per week, with 1 day off to rest or explore.
