The experience
Come stay with me in the beautiful city of Arusha the gateway to Mount Kilimanjaro, Serengeti, and so many amazing adventures! I welcome travelers who want to experience local life, take part in small community projects, and enjoy cultural exchange.
You’ll stay in a friendly home where we share meals, stories, and laughter. You can help out with light community work, join local activities, and spend your free time exploring waterfalls, markets
What you offer
20 hours of help per week
Cooking:
Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Discounts on Accommodation:
Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Language lessons:
Take free language classes at our place.
Use our equipped kitchen:

High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Between 18 and 80 years old

Program Details
Our program in Arusha gives travelers the chance to experience authentic Tanzanian life while supporting small community projects. You’ll stay in a welcoming local home, connect with people from different cultures, and take part in activities that make a real impact like helping with community work, assisting local families, or joining cultural exchange programs.
During your free time, you can explore Arusha’s beautiful surroundings from waterfalls and local markets to the view of Mount Meru and nearby national parks. It’s a great opportunity to learn, share, and grow while enjoying warm hospitality and a relaxed environment.
