My experience overall was beyond any expectation I had. The volunteers were welcoming and fun. Management was flexible and nice. The location was unmatched. The town itself blew me away. So many things to do and nature to see. Would recommend to all.

This host was my first hostel work experience and they respected the agreed upon hours and the culture they created was inviting and fun. Amazing experience!

I had a great time here in Brasov! I was working with an amazing group of volunteers and we met many other awesome people who stayed at the hostel. The work was easy and we were given a schedule so we could plan days off. The hostel is pretty much in the centre of the old town so it's very close to all the attractions and there's a nice hike close by as well. The hosts Bogdan and Alina were lovely and very helpful!

This hostel was in the old town of Brosov so it was gorgeous with castles and hikes accessible around by public transport. Tasks were easy and set-out well, work schedules were given to us on the day of our arrival and for the whole time period. Alina was lovely and wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty with us when we were busy. Bogdan was very quick to respond to messages and made our stay were easy. Only downside was the volunteers live in the attic which gets hot during the day, but I was also there in peak summer. Plenty of other places to hang out and meet guests :)

It was a really nice experience I met many people for all around the world. It's nice to improve your listening and speaking because you can talk with many different accents. Bogdan is a good man and also Alina, they are flexible with the time.

My experience at the hostel was good! My favorite parts were getting to go hiking in the mountains in Brasov and surrounding cities -SO pretty!- and working with Raul, the manager, who is super chill and funny guy. However, the hostel itself is a bit run down, with some things not working all the time, there was not a lot happening at the hostel itself, and I never met the owner, though she was nice over messages, it made me feel like this place was not much of a community.

I don't recommend this experience. I did my tasks and if I messed up I was always willing to rectify it. But the Owners and managers were just not it.they just got mad one day because I was waiting for my cleaning tasks in the group, which is how I had always done during my stay. They said they didn't like my attitude, insulted and yelled at me for making a sarcastic comment(which I recognise was wrong, but was took so exag)but was still left gracefully and I received passive agressive messages from the owner who wanted me to stay and pay morefor my bed lol. Bad communication and bad vibes!!

The city is really beautiful, the hostel is nice and the job, specially reception is really easy. The con is that since they just changed owners it's a bit disorganized, by the time we got there everyone including the manager was new. I'm just glad we met nice people, guests and other volunteers!

I rlly appreciate everything in this voluntee but I don't recommend this, at the beginning it was good! Then in my 2nd I didn't clean well one bath and the kitchen (I know it's wasn't good) but the owner basically say to me I don't know how to clean like 3 times ,everything was good with the manager, very kind and friendly, then 1 day he hear a girl complaining and I was there, and he yelled at both of us telling us that we were Immature girls and bbys and that our work was not good, etc. the point is that on both side it's not okcomplaining and it's not ok insult. Besides he gives us + tasks

The hostel is in a great location in the heart of Brasov. Brașov had events on nearly every weekend I was there, and there are plenty of places to explore nearby The ownership changed while I was there, so there was alot of confusion as the new owners got up to speed. Both sets of owners were rarely present, however the team was top notch. I was there for 2 months and worked with many other volunteers. The sleeping arrangements are a bit complicated, there's 4 beds in a staff dorm, however there were often more than 4 volunteers so I was sleeping in an overflow dorm. The room was great.
