I stay 5 weeks in the hostel and what a month ! The team of volunteers was amazing, we did so much stuff in our free time together. The work is quite easy and you will be well trained :) Naoko and Robin are flexible and understanding and always willing to improve stuff for the hostel or the volunteers. And big thank you to Robin for letting us come to a northern light tour and help him :)

It was a fantastic experience! I loved life in Tromsø, the work at the hostel is really simple and takes a few hours of work per day. Naoko and Robin the owners are kind and helpful! The volunteers are all beautiful souls 🥰I will also miss Burger 🐶 I absolutely recommend this experience!!

An experience that I will remember all my life! I was supposed to stay 1 month, finally I stayed almost 2 months. This volunteer is perfect for meeting travelers from around the world. I improved my English and my Spanish, with the 18 roommates. It's very nice to live in the hostel. Everyone is very nice and open. There is always someone to go out and do an activity. Naoko and Robin (managers) are very nice. It is possible to work alongside volunteer. We are working only 2 hours a day in a flexible way, except when we receive (4h Shift). Tromsø is a city full of opportunities.

Volunteering at Tromsø the hostel was an unforgettable experience! The work was easy, usually done in less than 2 hours, making it perfect for those with other jobs. The hostel has incredible good vibes, and, with more than 10 volunteers plus the friendly guests there was always someone to hang out with. Also it's perfectly located on the main street, with a supermarket right across. The volunteers' house was warm and cozy, though the kitchen and bathrooms could use some upgrades. Winter in Tromsø is truly magical, but also left me wanting to come back in summer. Highly recommend!

I wanted to express how much I enjoyed my experience and time spent here. The owners have been incredibly kind and always open to discussing and resolving any questions or concerns. It was truly rewarding to work for them and to contribute to building the volunteer house. I feel like I have left a piece of myself in this place, and I would love to return someday if the opportunity arises. Thank you for everything, it has been an unforgettable experience.

This was my first time as a solo traveler and first volunteering experience! It was just the thing I needed to get out of my comfort zone and forget about my problems! Naoko and Robin are really nice and caring hosts, they helped with everything we needed as volunteers. The working hours are really flexible and not demanding, if there was any problem you could talk with Naoko to try and solve it! Tromsø is really a magical city, it has everything you could want, nature, mountains, beaches, late night party and more… And the best boy BURGER, lovely dog <3 Thank you for everything!!

Volunteering at Tromsø Activities for almost a month was a fantastic experience. The hostel is a cozy and lively place for people from around the world to meet and share good times, in the city center, which has a very special magic. Burger is the nicest and loveliest dog, and I was lucky to coincide with a big group of volunteers, with whom we made a great team and strong friendship. Robin and Naoko are so welcoming and flexible, always considering everyone's needs and preferences when organizing tasks, which are very diverse and dynamic. Thank you for everything, I definitely recommend it!💛

The best experience I've had so far as a volunteer. The hostel is in the city center, and everything you need is nearby. Robin and Naoko are amazing people and very flexible with everything. The tasks are super easy and clear to do. Most of the day is free to enjoy the city and its incredible surrounding nature. There's a very nice vibe. I felt very comfortable with the rest of the staff. I recommend it 100%.

The stay at the hostel in Tromsø was absolutely amazing. It being my first world packers experience, so I was quite nervous before coming here. However, I was absolutely well taken care off by the hosts and other volunteers. The atmosphere in the hostel is very cozy and comfortable and it is easy to get into contact with people. Additionally, the schedule is respected and the working hours are very flexible, which means that there is enough time to explore this beautiful part of the world!!!
