The experience

Join our NGO in the beautiful Kilimanjaro region and help strengthen our impact on local communities. 🌍
Volunteers will support organizational development, program design, and community outreach while gaining hands-on experience in non-profit management.
This is a great opportunity to contribute your skills toward meaningful change and sustainable growth.
Activities will take place in different location from the accommodation for volunteer.


What you offer

6 hours of help per day

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Activities & Shift

1. Attend short briefing with supervisor (review tasks & priorities of the day)
2. Check emails / messages for organizational updates or assignments
3. Prepare materials needed for the day’s activities (documents, forms, outreach kits, etc.)
Mid-Morning Tasks (depending on assignment)
4. Collaborate on proposals, reports, or strategic documents
5. Support preparation of work plans or event planning documents
6.Conduct research on funding opportunities or community issues
7. Draft communication materials (letters, minutes, presentations, etc.)
8. Breakfast and Lunch Break (60–70 minutes )
Afternoon Tasks
9.Community engagement activities (meetings with community groups, schools, women/youth groups, etc.)
10.Participate in stakeholder or partner engagements when scheduled

Shift Duration:
Standard shift: 6 hours per day (e.g., 8.30:00 AM – 3:00 PM) with a lunch break.
Flexible shifts can be arranged depending on project needs and volunteer availability.
Location:
Office-based tasks: Proposal writing, strategic planning, documentation.
Field-based tasks: Community engagement, outreach, and event support.
Supervision & Reporting:
Volunteers will report directly to the Executive Director
Daily briefings and end-of-shift reviews ensure alignment and support.


Rules

3. Confidentiality. Keep all organizational information, documents, and beneficiary data strictly confidential.
4.No use of drugs or alcohol during volunteer hours.
5.No harassment, abuse, or exploitation of any person.
