The experience

Sé parte de Corazón de Selva en Nuquí, Chocó, y comparte tu talento como tallerista. Buscamos maestros y maestras del mundo que, a través del arte, la música, la danza, las emociones o la naturaleza, inspiren a niños, niñas y jóvenes a soñar en grande. Aquí podrás vivir la selva, aprender de la comunidad afrodescendiente y sembrar creatividad, esperanza y amor por el territorio.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Music: Perform to entertain guests, children or local communities.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

Únete a Corazón de Selva como tallerista voluntario en Nuquí, Chocó. Tu rol será facilitar actividades artísticas, emocionales o ambientales con niños, niñas y jóvenes, aportando tu conocimiento en música, danza, artes plásticas, teatro, oficios o naturaleza. Inspirarás a la comunidad, apoyando procesos educativos creativos y participando en la construcción de un futuro con esperanza.

Activities & Shift

Normalmente los talleres se hacen cuando los niños salen del colegio desde las 3:00 pm hasta las 5:00 pm y los fines de semana. Los tiempos podemos organizarlos para que funcione para todos. Es importante tener en cuenta que el tiempo del voluntariado incluye convocar a los niños y escribir en un bitacora lo que se va viviendo en cada experiencia.
