I loved my time at the hostel, it truly felt like a home away from home with a new family! Personally I never felt like I was working while doing my tasks but keep in mind that it actually is at least 30 hours a week; usually you do around 3 hours in the morning and 3 in the evening which leaves you the whole day to do whatever you want to! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the hostel itself is amazing so I highly recommend this volunteering position as long as you don't mind spending a lot of time at the hostel

The hostel is great for guests, but I strongly advise against volunteering there. The manager, who supervises volunteers, is incompetent and rude, creating a tense environment where staff fear her. She provides information too late or inaccurately, refuses to admit mistakes, and pressures volunteers constantly. My fellow volunteer and I left after two weeks, even though we planned to stay five, due to the poor communication and the manager's behavior. We later learned others had quit early for the same reasons. I do not recommend volunteering here.

The hostel is beautiful and offers great opportunities to meet travelers. Staff are amazing and welcoming. However, the management style was overly scrutinizing, creating a high-pressure environment. We understand the importance of maintaining standards but this stifled our ability to contribute effectively. There was also an expectation to project a somewhat inauthentic vibe, which sometimes felt forced. The hostel has so much potential, and with some adjustments in management style and more trust in volunteers, it could be a very enriching and enjoyable experience!

Fue una experiencia hermosa, al final extendĂ­ mis dĂ­as ahĂ­ porque me sentĂ­ muy cĂłmoda. El ambiente es increĂ­ble, al personal te hace sentir como en casa y hay muy bonita vibra aquĂ­, lo recomiendo 100% y volverĂ­a sin duda!

A mi me gusto muchĂ­simo mi experiencia en este lugar. El hostal es sĂşper bonito y espacioso y tiene unas vistas preciosas. El trabajo es sĂşper sencillo y las horas son respetadas, sin embargo siento que podrĂ­a mejorar algunos aspectos en cuanto a comunicaciĂłn. Muchas gracias a todo el staff y a las personas que hicieron mi estadĂ­a aquĂ­ increĂ­ble! Sin duda lo recomiendo :)
