The experience

Can you imagine living in a medieval castle? 🌟 Now's your chance: we offer free accommodation for a minimum of 3 days, and you can bring your partner or friends! We are a young couple who are passionate about this great project and we are looking for volunteers who want to share this magical renovation experience.

What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Program Details

📍 Location: France, just over an hour from Paris, accessible by train, bus, or car!


💡 We offer:

Private accommodation 🛏️ (subject to availability)

Bed, mattress, wardrobe, electricity, towels, and bedside tables 🪞

Fully equipped kitchen and dining room at your disposal 🍳

High-speed Wi-Fi throughout most of the castle 📶

Friendly atmosphere and a shared welcome dinner 🍷

All necessary materials and products for tasks 🧹🌱


🛠 Tasks:

Maintenance of common areas: garden 🌿, paths 🚶‍♂️, kitchen 🍽, dining rooms 🍴, etc.
(tasks will be assigned as needed during a daily morning meeting)

KNOWLEDGE IN GARDENING MACHINERY REPAIR IS A PLUS.

KNOWLEDGE OF PLUMBING AND CONSTRUCTION WILL BE VALUED.

Leave the room clean before leaving and tidy up the bedding.

3 hours of collaboration per day (you can accumulate hours to have more days off, with prior notice for better planning) ⏳

💫 Bonus: you can explore the surrounding area, visit Paris 🗼, or spend a day at Disneyland Paris 🎠.

Commitment and responsibility in the consumption of electricity, gas, and water. ⚡

Activities & Shift

✅ Support with cleaning common areas.

✅ Tidying up, cleaning, and basic maintenance of guest rooms.

✅ Help in the kitchen (preparing simple breakfasts, organizing, washing dishes).

✅ Gardening and park maintenance (watering, mowing the lawn, removing leaves and weeds).

✅ Small repairs and DIY tasks (if skilled and willing).

✅ Occasional support with guest reception.

✅ Care and organization of outdoor spaces (patio, terraces, garden furniture).

✅ Collaboration in promoting the castle on online platforms.
