My stay at this place was my first volunteer experience, and it was absolutely amazing. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. After seeing my qualifications, they gave me the freedom to work independently, which I really appreciated. It had been a long time since I'the host answered to a boss, but by the end of my stay, it felt like we were working together as a team. The castle is a beautiful place to both work and relax — truly an unforgettable experience.

This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't be happier about it. Santi and Valen are excellent hosts, they're kind, always making sure that everyone feels comfortable and answering your questions in case you have any. the tasks are very easy and the working hours are flexible if you need it, just make sure to talk with the hosts a bit before. This experience it's not just an opportunity to immerse yourself in the french culture by staying in a local town, it's also a chance to meet people from around all the world, and the community formed by the volunteers felt very homely like.

My stay at the host with Santi, Valen and Juan (the dog) was truly amazing, I felt welcomed from the first minute on! Apart from the beautiful surroundings, the atmosphere during working and non -working hours was great. Valen and Santi really cared about every volunteers wellbeing. The tasks were simple and could be adapted to your capabilities and field of expertise. There are usually other volunteers as well and we had a lot of fun together. The castle is really big so don't hestitate to apply even if there are other applicants! I totally recommend :)

Valentina and Santiago are a very brave couple who took in this huge renovation challenge and need all the help they can. If you have any technical skills or repair knowledge, you're more than welcome; but if you don't, don't worry, the castle is a very interesting place with lots of things to do. Hours are flexible, but it's always important to respect, discuss, & reach an agreement with the hosts about any changes/time you may need. They are the most amazing hosts ever (and Juan, the dog, whom I love very much) and I would not hesitate to come back given the opportunity! 100% recomendado.

The host Castle is an amazing and really singular place to stay. It's a real inmersion in the local culture in a small really French town far away from the globalized touristic places. If you want a really local contact is a good experience. The task are simple and you can do what you feel more comfortable with. Working time is flexible and you can managed your time always talking before with your partners. The host( Santiago,Valentina and Juan -The dog) are really kind with the volunteers. They worked at the same rhythm with us,sometimes more. I passed a great time together there!

Santi y vale son un amor, fue una maravillosa experiencia que llevaré siempre conmigo, se respetaron nuestros horarios y los chicos estaban siempre disponibles para preguntas sobre nuestras actividades del día. Paris está a 1 hora en tren, el ambiente en la casa es muy grato y tranquilo, lo recomido 🤍.

Agradezco a Santi y a Valen por su amabilidad, su paciencia, su disposición, fueron unos hosts increíbles, fue mi primer voluntariado y me llevo muy buenos recuerdos y ganas de seguir en este mundo de voluntariado. Definitivamente se los recomiendo, las tareas no son difíciles y los horarios flexibles, lo único que les recomendaría como viajeros es que investiguen bien horarios y rutas hacia París u otras ciudades

Mi experiencia en el castillo fue hermosa. Valen y Santi son personas muy simples, generosas y acogedoras, y admiro mucho el esfuerzo con el que están recuperando y renovando este lugar tan especial. El trabajo es tranquilo y el castillo es precioso. Compartí juegos de cartas, fiestas divertidas y una convivencia muy positiva con los voluntarios. Juan, el perrito, es un amor y ya lo extraño.
