The experience
We are a friendly language center located in the small desert town of Smara. Our mission is to help children, young people, and adults improve their language skills (mainly English and French) while creating a space of cultural exchange and learning.
As a volunteer, you will:

✨ Practice conversations, games, and creative activities.
✨ Contribute with your ideas to make learning fun.
What you offer
18 hours of help per week
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.
What you get
3 days off per week
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.

Intermediate English or Fluent French
Between 18 and 70 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
In our language center in Smara, we welcome children and adults who want to learn languages. We expect you to share your language through conversations, games, and simple activities.
In return, we offer comfortable accommodation, Moroccan meals, and the chance to experience authentic desert life and culture with us
Activities & Shift
Daily activities may include:
Helping students practice English or French through conversations.
Playing educational games and doing fun activities with kids.
Assisting with basic lessons at the center.
Sharing your culture and ideas with students.
Shifts:
Around 3–4 hours per day, 4 days a week.
afternoons or evening , depending on the class schedule.
Weekends are usually free to rest or explore.
We keep the atmosphere relaxed and flexible — the goal is cultural exchange and fun learning!
