Lahsen was one of the most fun and easy going hosts I've had on Worldpackers. We had some great times going out on day trips, having a picnic at the beach or going dancing and feasting in the desert. I appreciate his openness to different approaches to teaching English. Some of my teaching included teaching English thru popular song lyrics then playing the songs to my students on my ukulele. Lahsen especially liked the song, "Hotel California" by The Eagles and often requested it.

It was a very lovely stay with the school, his family & friends in Smara! I've worked approx 15h a week (evenings), which was totally managable. I had enough time to work on my projects during the day. The food I've got served was delicious! I got taken care of & my needs were always considered:) The work itself was a bit overwhelming at the beginning because you'll teach a class all by yourself, but after some classes you'll approve and get to know the kids better which makes it so fun! The kids are lovely, kind, sometimes loud but fully grateful and eager to learn new things! See you very soon!

Nuestra experiencia fue increíble y profundamente enriquecedora. Fuimos a la escuela de la escuela a enseñar yo español y mi pareja Yann Francés. Y desde el primer día nos sentimos bien recibidos. La hospitalidad, el respeto y el trato humano de nuestro anfitrión fueron excepcionales. El ambiente de la escuela es cálido , abierto y muy humano. la escuela siempre estuvo atento a que estuviéramos cómodos acompañándonos y valorando nuestro trabajo, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más especial. Fue una de las mejores experiencias que tuvimos como voluntarios. la escuela volveremos InchAllah
