The experience

Do you love meeting people, sharing good vibes, and living by the ocean? 🌞🌊 Join our beach hostel in Surf City, El Salvador, where the palm trees, sunsets, and surf culture create the perfect backdrop for unforgettable memories.

As a volunteer, your main role is to spread good energy: help lead social activities like our daily Pool Dive, the magical Tamanique waterfalls trip, movie & dance nights, and nights out in El Tunco 🎶🌃.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Surf lessons: Take free surf classes at the local beaches.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English and Beginner Spanish

Between 18 and 38 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

This is a social volunteer role, perfect for outgoing travelers who love bringing people together. Your mission is to keep the energy alive, help organize light activities, and encourage guests to connect.

You’ll have plenty of free time to surf, relax at the pool, or explore the vibrant culture of El Salvador. 🌍 Whether leading a group to a waterfall or hosting a movie night, you’ll be the heartbeat of the hostel. 💃🕺

Activities & Shift

🏊 Lead Pool Dive Hour at 5:30 pm (daily)
📲 Share activities in the guest WhatsApp group
🌊 Join the weekly Tamanique Waterfalls trip (Wednesdays)
🎬💃 Support Movie + Dance Night (Thursdays)
🌃 Be part of El Tunco nightlife outings (Fridays & Saturdays)

Schedule: ~25 hours per week, mostly afternoons & evenings
Days off: 2 days/week to surf, chill, or explore El Salvador

Rules

📆 Minimum stay: 3–4 weeks
⏰ Respect quiet hours (11 pm – 7 am)
