Program Details

At A Quinta da Lage, volunteers are invited to immerse themselves in off-grid living and regenerative practices in the beautiful southwest of Portugal. This is a hands-on opportunity to support our eco-project while learning valuable skills in permaculture, natural building, food growing, animal care, and community living.

Daily tasks vary with the seasons and may include gardening, cooking, helping with workshops, maintaining natural structures, or caring for sheep and chickens. Life here is simple and close to nature—guided by the land, the seasons, and teamwork.

Beyond the work, volunteers are welcomed into a community that values connection, sustainability, and learning by doing. Many leave with not only practical skills but also a renewed sense of purpose and balance.

If you are curious about regenerative living, eager to contribute, and open to a lifestyle rooted in simplicity and cooperation, we would love to welcome you to our farm.
