🌱 Tiny Farm Revival – Nature, Traditions & Slow Living🍃

Program Details
You’ll see the direct results of your work while reconnecting with nature.
In your free time, you can explore the breathtaking foothills of the Low Tatras, paddle the Hron river 🚣, or simply enjoy the peace and silence of the countryside. Accommodation is simple and rustic — a shepherd’s trailer, your own tent, or your van — but the experience is rich in authenticity and connection. 🌿✨
Nestled in central Slovakia’s rolling hills, the farm is a place to slow down, learn, and live closer to nature. This is an authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience where you’ll not only help restore the land but also experience the traditions of a region where my family has lived for over 300 years.
If you value sustainability, heritage, and hands-on work, you’ll find meaning and purpose here.
Activities & Shift
No two days look the same! Possible tasks include:
🌱 Clearing bushes & cutting grass
🌳 Caring for fruit trees and planting new ones
💧 Helping with water systems, wells, or restoring natural springs
🪵 Eco-projects: building fences, simple wooden or mud structures, natural shower & compost toilet
🌾 Light gardening, harvesting, or soil work
Schedule: Around 24 hours per week (flexible), with 3 days off — you’ll always have time to hike, explore, or rest.
Rules
🚍 Easy access by bus or train, plus everything you need is a 5–20 min walk away.
🛖 Stay in your tent/van or in a simple wooden shepherd’s caravan on the farm.
🚿 Facilities are rustic & eco-friendly (think sun-heated showers or a dip in the nearby river).
🍲 I provide lunch on workdays; you can cook simple meals or try local restaurants and markets.
🧑🤝🧑 I usually host 1–3 volunteers at a time to keep the atmosphere personal and relaxed.
🤝 Respect, honesty about your skills, and an open spirit are the only real rules.
